Phalsa: They are very common in the season of summer, it is tangy as well as sweet in taste and is purplish by nature. It acts as a cooling agent and has a lot of medical advantages. It gives nutrients like calcium, iron, magnesium, riboflavin, vitamin A and vitamin C, alongside antioxidants like anthocyanins, tannins, and flavonoids. Scientists say that antioxidants provide protection against breast and oral cancer. The fruit has isatin and sorbitol which help relieve constipation.
