Diljit Dosanjh’s latest Punjabi film ‘Sajjan Singh Rangroot’ received a good opening at the box office, the film started on a good note. Pankaj Batra’s directorial film is based on the real-life story of Sajjan Singh, who was a Maharaja of Ratlam State and a British-Indian Army Officer, ruling from 1893-1947.
Punjabi superstar Diljit has won million hearts across the world with his excellent performance in the film, the concept of the period war drama film is based on World War 1. The film is doing well at the box office, breaking records as it’s getting a huge number of screens to any Punjabi film.
Sajjan Singh Rangroot also collecting a good amount of bucks for the makers. Singer Sunanda Sharma also marked the debut with this movie as Jeeti. Diljit starrer Punjabi flick has made a record of getting 1312 screens across India, before to the release date only. And its result also affected the box office collection graph of the film.

After receiving a quite well opening at the box office, the film ended its first weekend on the good note as well. The film gross Rs. 1.35 crore on an opening day.
Although Diljit’s dream project failed to break the record of his own film Sardarji in the term of the opening collection. While its sequel Sardarji 2 raked Rs. 2.25 crore (approx) on its release date.
Sajjan Singh Rangroot started slowly at the box office, but the film managed to pick up the momentum during the first weekend. Diljit Dosanjh and Sunanda Sharma’s latest film collected Rs. 4.50 crore (approx) from the Indian Box office on the very first weekend.
The film is also generating impressive business in Uk and USA, where the movie got 34 and 15 screens, collecting Rs. 73.87 Lakhs and Rs. 44.28 Lakh respectively within the first weekend.
